8800GT i upgraded a while back

i am playing the demo on my laptop which has a M 8400Gs. and play at 800x600 with all settings at low and still it looks jus awesome

Well even with 1152 i was able to play it pretty smoothly on 7900 GS with all settings maxed out..

I didnt like the handling.. graphics and gameplay is good.. I don't think i will be getting it. May be if i had Gamepad or something.. but with keyboard i just couldnt handle it..

Does any of these games :

Colin McRae: Dirt
FlatOut 2
GTR 2 - FIA GT Racing Game

have similar handling to that of "Grid"

As i didnt like handling of grid apart from Drifting where i was able to manage it with crappy handling...

So i am looking for NFS like handling..!!

played the demo on sherus 32" today and it looked amazing
drift mode was bleh tho

ummm, from where did you folks download the demo?

i downloaded the grid_demo.zip file from 2 places (gamershell.com and gameupdates.org) and i got an error while trying to unzip with 7-zip and WinZip

I got the same problem ^^^. Finally I just deleted the huge demo file. Hope it comes as executable with some magazine in June.

I downloaded from gamespot and had no problems extracting it

the multiplayer rocks...

played the same @ 1920*1200 with all settings high and AA @ 16cxaaa ...
just play it guys

i am having probs with multiplayer, it keeps sayn unable to connect session most of teh time... but playing it is fun, germans in multiplayer r quite aggressive..

Keep refreshing often and try connecting to the server as soon as it shows up. Games stay in the lobby for like 10-20 seconds. It's pretty good fun online but there are too many jokers sliding all over the place and banging each other ;(

the demo was hot,though i hated the car damage,even the slightest of mistakes led the car undrivable ,the car would automatically start to steer left or right after a low steering damage
but still can't wait to paly the gamehyeah:
