[Group Buy] Internet Download Manager - Pay before June 18

Lots of illegit files also can be downloaded via IDM I think so.

Downloading huge data sizes of all kinds of Porn is one such advantage.[emoji12]

I really like downloading Music files using IDM real fast.
Now there are some download managers which are provided through extensions via all most all popular internet browsers.
Reason: What is the need to use separate download manager when you can get the same facility via the browser itself.
This is my opinion though.

Another alternate is FDM( Free Download Manager)

Though there are many alternative download managers nothing can beat IDM.

Because I have been using it using it for years and just one notification pops up to update and you can ignore it and it will work just fine

If you want to download from a site like Youtube which changes its content structure every few months, then you will not get the option to download videos with old versions of IDM.

You can use a browser extension to download videos from Youtube depending on the uploader resolution and max download speed of an ISP.

Definitely. There is JDownloader too.
But those who prefer IDM use it for the 1 click feature.

I used to use Keepvid for downloading from YT. The last time I used it, audio and video streams of high resolution options(720p/1080p) were to be separately downloaded and then stitched together using a small program which Keepvid themselves provided. Do not know what feature is provided by browser extensions.

I bought IDM from this GO as the price was very reasonable (around Rs.800-900). I have used ahem version of IDM since the last 5-6 years and just wanted to say thanks to the developer. And in return I was getting free updates for around 2-3 yrs too. Win win for everyone.

One feature of IDM that I love is, I can resume downloads even if original download URL has changed. A few files that I download for work are huge (3-5 GB). On click of download link, it generates a random URL with token and I start downloading it. The URL remains valid for 10 sec only. So in case the download gets interrupted (it always gets interrupted), if I go to download page, new URL is generated. In IDM, if I cannot restart a resumable download, it offers to open original page in browser. On clicking the download link and getting a new random URL, IDM resumes the download from where the download was interrupted.

Personal experience. EagleGet worked on sites where FDM failed. It is easy to download videos through EG.Also, UI was better in EG.
