Prices seem to be cheaper than primeabgb / mdcomputers.

are these final prices or is there any scope of further reduction.

I want NAS drives 4 TB x 2nos can u take price of them and post.

Skyhawk 1TB is available for 3150 at pcstudio. 2TB is a bit cheaper here, it's 5k there.

Hope you're aware though that the WD20EZAZ uses SMR. Pretty shitty drive in terms of reliability too (admittedly I have a sample of size of 1 new and 1 RMA drive, but my sample of 1 Seagate and 1 HGST outlasted WD in similar usage).

These WD blue series are shitty HDD. 2 of them died just after warranty. I moved to Seagate and its working fine.

I have WD HDD in all my systems Infact 2 are about 4 years old and still doing a great job.
Just coz a HDD died after warranty doesn't mean its bad.
Frankly I have seen more seagate drives dying than WD. But that doesn't mean seagate is bad.

Backblaze publishes data on failure rates in their DCs: https://www.backblaze.com/b2/hard-drive-test-data.html
They seem to have stopped using WD drives, but when they were using WD, Seagate, and HGST, WD had the highest failure rate, followed by Seagate, and HGST with the least.

Looking at the model numbers in the latest report, they seem to be using a mix of consumer drives and enterprise storage. While in some cases the sample sizes are too small to draw conclusions, the cumulative data graph near the bottom paints a pretty clear picture.

It's a shame HGST is hardly available in India anymore.

HGST is bought out by western digital in ~2012 and the brand was phased out couple of years ago. Its a shame , I got 320GB hgst drive in my old PC I bought in 2009 and its still working in my current PC 10 years later
