Gt 610 compatibility with asus p5gcmx1333 ddr2 motherboard

Hello folks, i got a asus p5gcmx1333 motherboard with core2duo e4500 cpu and 4gb ddr2 ram. I wanted to play stutter free hd video so i got a working gt610 card but on installation it and the internal gpu both are giving no signal .please help.

go back to internal GPU and install the latest BIOS. Older boards have problems with newer cards unless they have their latest BIOS

Hello, i have updated the bios, still the problem persists? Can anyone suggeat anything?

Try getting into BIOS and see if it has option to Initialise display (should be Init Display First in BIOS) on Onboard or on PCIX port, depending upon this setting you will be able to get the display from GT610 of yours. This setting was there for some 945 based mobos, I assume yours will also have it.

Okay folks i finally fixed it, rubbing the pinout with eraser and resetting cmos and ram worked. The card is working fine now.
