GTA 4 online gaming issue

Hey guys,
when i try to play in the multiplayer mode, the windows live software starts updating in-game and gets stuck towards the end. I waited for around 10-15 minutes or so... Does it take an even longer time?

Besides, since i have a data cap of 1.25 gb per month, i was wondering how much 'MBs/hr' this game consumes so that i can plan my duration of online play..

Its downloading the new patch which is around 30MB in size. Calculate the time based on your download speed. The progress bar on that app is faulty coz it moves very fast in the beginning and then slows down a lot. Also theres no way to determine how much data has been downloaded.

Alternatively, you can try downloading the patch from an external server. Install that and try launching the game again. No idea regarding how much data it downloads and uploads during only gameplay.
 
No problems for me , I played a multiplayer race in GTA 4 without any problems , there was a bit of lag though.

We need set up our own Indian GTA 4 server !!!

thanks for the reply guys..guess i will download it tonight then.. and also someone please let me know about the data download/upload during online play.. :)
