pkay how the hell do u get a gamer tag and iam really confused now :(

if i sign into gfwlive it goes into xbox live stuff???
 
for those who dont wanna install xp sp3 just right click and run the game in compatibility mode for windows 2000 the rmn40 error will vanish

i have wierd texture bugs will installing the beta drivers can fix those errors?'

how do i add the command line parameter can some one please tell me ??? :huh:

never mind i found it can anyone please gimme a fix for the damn texture bug i mean it is really frustrating shite load of missing tixtures :(

^^ Is that a bug?? Coz I think its coz of less VRAM... I think this game needs those 1GB graphic cards... even Low Texture Settings requires 400MB @ 1680x1050 ;)
 
no matter what u do this game does not run with >30fps
and even <10fps

no wounder they r selling it for 500rs (but its not worth even 50p)
 
Don't jump into conclusions when you even haven't played it yourself.

Do you even know that now majority of people are playing this game without any trouble at all after optimized drivers and that too without the patch, surely some are forced to play at medium because of hardware constraints , but that still look better than the console counter parts.

Just check here only , everyone is running the game fine , and being the price of Rs. 500 /- I think we should be thankful that we are getting this game of this price due to counter piraccy in India, I pre-ordered it through VJ even when the price was Rs. 1299/-.That's how much I love GTA games.

I bet that majority of the people who are complaining even with high end pc's are total noobs when it comes to take care of their pc's.Putting hardware in isn't only the solution , you have take care about the other , software side of things as well.

Who cares , we are happy with our copy of the game at Rs. 500/- and we don't care about some ranting fools. :@

4gb ram 800mhz

nvidia gtx 260 216

M.B=xfx 680 sli lt

using nvidia 180.84 drivers (which r released for gta4)

vista 64bit

Cmon respect his opinion. Not everyone should adore GTA like u do

Like it or not, the game is buggy and not direct install and play. One has to go through so much of tweaking and bug fixing to play it well

Its a awesome game with big problems, else people wouldn't wait so eagerly for a damn patch

Just installed the original version and used commandline.txt, which Dinesh had given

Game playing like a dream :) , looks a bit rough around edges due to lack of AA :@

But no lag etc, just 15mins into the game
