GTA SA not starting. It says "Original Disc could not be found or authenticated"

This is a legit copy!!! I paid 3Grand for it. I am getting this error.

I installed it and it installed FINE. Then I even played the game once. But hardly for 3 mins.

then I tried restarting the game and I started getting this error. I even restarted the comp.

Problem does not go away.

Please help!!

use a nocd fix na, its legal if u have the legit game

Dirty lens, dirty dvd/cd. Could be either of them or even a scratched dvd/cd.

Well, I searched for this on google. And it seems many many people are having this problem.

I even found a "patch" for this released by R*. But that does not work. Still the same problem.

And the DVD lens has to be clean. Brand new 1650

Use a nocd patch simple! Its perfectly legal if you have an original copy.

I tried playing it again just now and it works fine.....

I will use a No-CD patch if the problem occurs again
