theres some problem with Gtalk

i tried it both on vista/Xp...

in Xp it logs in but freezes..u have to end task

in vista , it works fine but if u leave it on for a 1 hr or so..it freezes

ive tried reinstalling/downloading a new copy and reinstalling..

nothing works..

does anybosy have any ideas?

Then only thing that comes to my mind is spyware/virus or may be some compatibility pblm with some other software..

Opening Gtalk in Recovery mode may help you...

I did the same thing.. I had activated Currently listening Song something in Gtalk, and It started freezing..

Am facing this issue :@ When i enable the option, Show the track that am playing.. when i start the Winamp.. it screws up.. is there any work around for that ? i've never really bothered to work on this issue... well if u know any solution ..Most Welcome :)

Ru using winamp with gtalk ?????????????have u set the status to display the current track???

Why not use Gtalk from within Gmail???
You can use some Greasemonkey scripts too which provide almost similar functionality.

No, using from GMail is lame. For that u need to be logged in for whole day (if ur using gtalk that much).. and u need to keep that silly browser window open..  a very very bad idea.

Thought its okay if ur using that from ur work if ur system policy doesnt allow u to install gtalk.. but then again.. Portable stuff work in such scenario.

Close winamp and create a file called winamp.m3u in the root directory of winamp default being: c:\program files\Winamp

u can just use a text file and rename it to New text document.txt to winamp.m3u .........

NOTE:Make sure u have unchecked the option "Hide extension for known file types"
