As a result I can't display the song i'm playing!!!!

What to do??

I had similar problem, but the method i mentioned above worked for me...

I had to unistall both Google Talk and Google Talk plugin seperately mentioned in Add/Remove in Vista

Try once again eggman, download Gtalk again

try this link for version 1.0.0.105(coz wen i downloaded from google the version was 1.0.0.104)

Download Google Talk 1.0.0.105 - Enables you to call or send instant messages to your friends for freeanytime, anywhere in the world - Softpedia

Strictly follow these steps:-

1. Close WMP11

2. Uninstall Google Talk

3. On google talk setup file ->Right Click -> Run as Administrator

4. Now before starting WMP, start Google talk first, or plugin might not install.

5. Open WMP11 -> View -> Plug-ins -> Options in the left of the screen (Category) choose Background check if the "Google Talk Music Plugin" is Enabled, if not enable it.

You probably installed a secondary music player as well ?

For example iTunes / Real Media Player / Winamp or something?

If that's the case , then uninstall them first and they try playing through Media Player. It should come up then i guess. ;)
