GTX 780/770 Get Price cuts - 780 GTX Ti price & date announced.

First and foremost, both GeForce GTX 780 and GeForce GTX 770 are getting price cuts, effective tomorrow (October 29th). GTX 780 will be reduced by $150 to $499, and meanwhile GTX 770 will be getting smaller $70 trim, bringing the price of that card down to $329.

Finally, along with the announcement of tomorrow’s price cuts NVIDIA has also announced the launch date for the previously announced GeForce GTX 780 Ti: November 7th (next Thursday). Furthermore NVIDIA has also announced that it will be priced at $699, placing it $200 above the GTX 780 and $150 above the 290X.

These prices cut have no effect in India and it will take time , as we can see the cards are still overpriced here.
 
Well, i had already thought of upgrading to a 290X + Swiftech 320 + EK Waterblock but if the price cut takes place in time then i will be saved with quite a lot of cash. Currently reference 780GTX sells for 600-650 USD so 150 dollar price cut as per india would be somewhere around 8.5-9k. It is selling here for 51-53k ,so anything near 40k makes it a good purchase.
 
The 290 And 290x are still better deals looks at there price And performance. Nvidia is just way too over priced. Imagine those guys paying 1000 dollars for Titan And now 290 killing it for less than half the price
 
If I am correct, there is quite a difference between the price of 270x and 7950,

I myself am waiting for the prices of 270x to reduce a bit before I buy.
