So what are you guys opinions. I find that they have tried to move into the metal genre with this album..

A few songs like the Chinese democracy, Catcher in the ry etc are pretty good..

Its good to see one of the best American bands making a comeback...

Axel rose has lost his vocal skills :| and GnR is never the same with out slash :|, who is their guitarist now?? Bumblefoot ??

meh no slash ? And I thought GnR was history :P,

(Without slash they effectively are  )

how long has it been in the making ??? havent yet heard it but i am sure its not gnr as i would remember them

14 years.:bleh:

Honestly, the album is really missing the Slash tone and feeling. It just doesn't feel right hearing those guitar notes and knowing that its NOT Slash.

Some songs are 'OK', but definitely not what I expected after 14 years.

GnR may have been popular, especially with wannabes, for Slash but GnR is not just Slash- period. :|

They might not be as good now, me yet to hear it, but long live GnR and AxL Rose. :)
And Slash too. :P

^^ Agreed... but give the new album a listen if you havent. Axl's vocal have changed a lil, but there are a couple of worthwhile songs, yet much better then the American pop dished out everyday ;)

And in the end its GNR :)

Ave heard their "November Rain" is that Italian babe still Axl Rose's wife?

What a tall babe @_@, taller than him @_@.
