The 7950 is an excellent HU, stick to that. Rockford is great for the 6x9 ovals, try Soundstream or Kicker for your fronts.

As Chaos said, post on T-BHP, guys have tons of knowledge there ;)

You'r probably not gonna get Rockford Fosgate and surely not Lightning Audio in your budget. You should be looking at a JBL solution.. Can go for JBL 607c front comps. Sub, a 8/12" JBL one. Amp, get the Pioneer 6200. And rear ovals there are lots.. Post in TBhp to get better answers :)

^^ Youll need an Amp, for even decent sound quality.

Even a cheap low quality one, like Sony XPlods...

Get a 607's for the Fronts and GTO937's for the Rear. Stick with the HU you already have.

I think youll have about 8k-10k left, and you can get a very decent Pio 4Way Amp in that much.

The 'blasting sound' is from the sub and not amp. You can get a small sub in that case or none at all. In that way, ur rear ovals will provide some bass. though i don recommend that..
