I HAV 250 GB WESTERN DIGITAL hdd.. THE DAY I HAV INSTALLED IT MAKES NOISE .DURING BOOTIN TIME TOO .. JUS CANT UNDERSTAND WATS THE PROB.. ITS 16 MB BUFFER HDD.. DOES 16MB BUFFER HDD MAKE SIMILAR NOISE .. NOISE IS TERRIBLE LIKE SOMEONE SCRATCHING THE HARDDRIVE N KILLIN IT:bleh: :ohyeah: PLZ HELP ME DIDI ANY ONE HAD SAME PROBS ??? OR BETTER IF I GIVE THE sH** FOR REPLACEMENT RI8 NW.
 
If you are sure the sound is comming from the HD then backup everything on it and RMA it, noise from the HD isnt a good sign of health.
It will fail to be recognized altogether very soon.
