Don't remember correctly but its RY IIRC, go to any PC shop, he'll get this for u easily.

It is 8500GT>>7600GT>>7900GS thats why I suggested go for the AMD rig, see with the Gigabyte m/b bad RMA service is out of the question, and it has good onboard GPU too.
 
and i forgot..he won't be overclocking his cpu or gpu..this is his first comp. & he doesn know much bout computers... so this rig has gotta be decent,last-long and doesn have to 'gamer's pc'
 
I'll write it down for you.

If you want Intel. Best bet would be = E4300 + Intel 965 w/onboard graphics controller + 8500 GT OR 7600 GT.

If you want AMD. Best bet would be = AMD A64 x2 3600 + Jetway AMD 690G + 7900 GS.

You choose. :D

this rig is for my friend(im still onto my AMD rig)..and since AMD ain't that popular among the non tech-savvy ppl,they all prefer intel right away!

and u ought to check the tech specs of both the cards and i guessanyone can make out that the 7600gt is a better performer(other than de fact that de 8500 is dx10 and this one dx9)..he definitely wont be runnin dx10 apps anytime soon..

any idea bout de price of xfx 7600GT(standard version)?

yeah dd2 ram..i've already helped him out with in choosing other components..since i was not familiar wit current c2d combos..i asked here.

Motherboard : XFX 650i (6k)

Graphics Card : nVidia XFX 8500GT (5.1k)

Im sure 100 Rs. isnt a problem. Lol.

@Adi, problem is he wants something better then 8500GT and also onboard video in case of rma problems with the gpu
