Those guys who are looking for Haleemin Delhi try Jawahar in old Delhi adjacent to Karim's as they make much better than Karim or try at Sab ki Khatir at Golf Link road.

Went 2 hours ago to Al Jawahar and they said that they dont serve Haleem at all. Came back and ate Keema Kaleji at Nazeer's at Ganesh Nagar. Awesome preparation i must say.

Tried out the Pista House Haleem 2 years ago and well ..... I liked it (gati delivered it by 9pm). My wife and daughter were not too excited about it :annoyed:

However, I am planning to order again this year - maybe 2 cans. BUT how is the Quality this time ....... I read here somewhere that there are more of bones in it (albeit juicy ones) :scared14:
irfanlai - I miss Md Ali Rd (last I'd been there was more than 6 years ago) ........ and now that parking is a problem (I hv just a 2 wheeler :() ...... A bawa friend of mine knew all the nooks and corner's where some of the choicest stuff was available (we never minded the unhygenic surroundings ........ ummmmm my mouth is drooling)

2 wheeler is OK but you will have to search some parking place....Best is to come by train get down at CST or Churchgate and then cab till Mohd ali road....
Nearest station is masjid bunder and you can reach Mohd ali road in 10 min by walking but you will require help from locals for the way...
In return journey you will find difficulty in getting a cab....

Veg. haleem? That's news for me!
Yes gannu.. A regular haleem with out chicken/mutton is called as veg haleem. I had it couple of years back from Pista house. It is really hard to find at retail points. You might need to Pre-order :p

When ever some one talks about Haleem, I felt so guilty for not trying it even though I stayed at hyderabad. :(

This year its too much bakwaas.
140-145 for haleem without dry nuts and proper one is for 200 which used to be 150 last year.

Yes, This year its not good.
Somehow enthusiasm and passion associated with cooking the best Haleem in the city seems missing...
