Hi all,

Anyone aware of person/company who provides internal/external HDD on rental in BANGALORE ?

Rental HDD is required (for 1-2 days) to store data from damaged HDD (Only Logically damaged) after recovery & then from rental HDD to logically damaged HDD.

Internal/External HDD of 500 GB or 1 TB is required.

Please suggest any vendor in Bangalore or if you are interested to rent out for 1-2 days then PM me your rental amount.
 
very hard to get this kind of service.

best option is to buy new/old hdd.. serve your purpose..

and sell in market for 200-300 less.
 
Just need it for 1-2 days to dump recovered data.

Dont want to go into hassle of shopping & again selling so looking for rent.
 
Never heard about anything like this. Probably you can check with the people who provides computers for rental. They should be able to arrange for you.
 
Asked few people, they told full computer not just HDD :(

Asked few rental guys, they say take whole computer for 1 month :(

Comps are with 40 GB HDD.. ehh They dont even have 500 GB HDD.

Any help ?
 
if u are in Bangalore0 ping me....I can give couple of ppl who rent comp....however thir charge for hardisk is same as 1 computer for 1 day.

any guys with 1 TB HDD who can rent out or know people who are ready to rent for 1-2 days. Just need to dump the data from data recovery.

you are wasting your time with this rent thing.

no one keeps a 1TB spare HDD. your best bet is as suggested previously.
 
Yes, ask your friends for help, maybe him the member who helps you out in this a nice treat at some place like pizza hut or something;)
 
Pizza hut treats can at times reach a killer price of 1.2k!

Because rarely does anyone "rents out" hard drives! This is the first time I am hearing of such a request.

@OP

your best bet is to buy a new one, dump your data and then sell it off. I guess someone or the other is always in need of extra storage space. :)

yeah, this is a rare request :(

What would a person do when he looses 1 TB of data due to LOGICAL damage (Formatting) & need to recover data from that HDD & dump on new HDD for sometime. Repartition old HDD then dump back.

Do suggest.

Unfortunately i dont have an external HDD... otherwise would have given it to you.
 
@OP, as phoenix sugested, get a new 1TB Seagate 7200.12 or WD Green for ~4100/-. Use it and then you can sell it here easily at 3400-3500/-. This way, you have to pay just 500/- as rent. :P
