hi members i get this msg when i try to acess it,e:is not accessible error performing inpage operation,its a secondary drive.Operating o.s-windows xpsp2,and the drive is seagate 40gb,and in properties it shows its empty but its filled upto 20gb of data whats the problem is the drive dead :huh:
p.s anyway of transferring data if its dead
 
Have u tried using the HDD in some other computer?? Did chkdsk fix the problem?? Try scanning for bad-sectors coz that could b the problem...

For data recovery, I guess like xfactor said, even I use the same software to et back deleted files!!
 
yeah i think the hard drive is gonna crash somehow formatted it everything looked fine but when i installed a game there was prob playing it got the usual windows error msg tried it on the main drive and the game runs fine
