Hi guys , i am in a terrible situation. This is what happened.
I have/had a 500gb Seagate (7200.12) hard drive packed fully with lots of important stuffs. I thought of connecting it to a laptop via SATA to USB converter.
As soon a i turned on the Power, the PCB of internal HDD started frying.
I connected the same HDD to my friends Desktop, it wasn't being detected .
What do i do now? Should i send it to RMA or swap the PCB .or solder it somewhere locally.
The Hard drive is still under warranty. I live in Bangalore.
Thanks in advance
