Hardware in Pune

I'm new to Pune and I'm looking for a skilled assembler for my gaming rig (lacking the time to do it myself) with good after sales service.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Secondly, whatever you do, first make sure you know the exact prices. Dealers here love to rip off people.
 
Most lazy people go to KMD, MediaHome, TechShop and Lynx!! :D

I don't really know anyone in Aundh, but you've got Sujata Computers in Karve Road, Baba Computers in Camp, Tilak Road and some other places I can't remember! There's also AMI Computers somewhere near Tilak Road. Very nice guy.

I'd recommend you drop Apollyon or Amey a PM. They'll know more dealers who can give you a good deal.
 
Well if one was really insane they'd go to the Apple laptop store at the E-square mall.

^ Why don't you try assembling the parts yourself? Get the recommendations and prices here, order from any of these guys and enjoy. :)
 
Hey dude. There is Asian Data Centre here in New sanghvi. It will be close to you if you are near Aundh. U can get the numbers from google. I have just recently had my computer assembled by him. The catch is you have to know or recommend whatever hardware you want on your system. Check him out. The guy's shop is small but he is a honest guy. Customer service is his USP, I feel. Gives very good rates. Perhaps he might be able to help you. I had contacted almost all the major dealers in Pune (Stech, Baba... and the rest of the gang... they are a disgrace to the profession of sales) before assembling my system. All of them understand the language of money very well but beyond that there is nothing.

My suggestion is get the parts yourself and then have someone from TE memebers assemble it for you. Its better to do it that way so that you can atleast start learning :D
 
I moved to the city recently; I don't even have a screwdriver. I cannot afford to travel around the city searching for components and I've been out of the loop a long time so I fear something blowing up in my face.
 
Well There is a McDonald's in Stellar Enclave in Aundh Parihar Chowk area. In the same building's back side there is a shop called Hertz Technologies (u need to go all around it) nice guy good after sales service and will get most of the stuff that you want. Give him a visit.

Also refer rates from Mumbai rather from Chennai, supposing Delta is from Chennai.. if its from Mumbai then its ok :)

Rates as well as range of Sujuta Computers is fantastic.Location is right dead centre of Nal Stop square.You need to take a lane.
Very competitive price.
However if rates are no issue better go for Hertz Technologies like djmykey has suggested.

I second that... rookie mistake I made when I was new onto the hardware scene. Even DCC sometimes loots if he gets a scent that ur a noob.
 
Dont go to sujata or dcc if you dont know anyone there personally. They assume that the customer is a noobie and jack up prices.
 
One suggestion which I can give and is tried and tested by me and my friends is Karan Solutions, East Street.

He only keeps the stuff which sells easily (like only Seagate HDDs and no WD etc), but he gives really fair rates. I've bought my APC 1KVA UPS and my friends have got monitors,HDDs and other stuff from him. His rates are comparable to Mumbai and he doesn't try to swindle you. But the only downside is that he may not have everything you are looking for.

DCC guys are bunch of noobs, they know little and sales people say anything ridiculous to sell their product, not to mention the idiotic prices there.

I'll recommend S Tech computers on shankar seth road, the guy generally knows what he is selling and you will find good stuff there in stock.
