Some one is Pune imported a V-Rod custom modified by HarleyDavidson (more chrome work done on the body). He stays in Clover Highlands in all probability.

Those Harleys seems more show n less go...except the V-Rod i guess....

Those big engines are so efficient :bleh: :bleh: that they cant match our emission norms...says so much abt american automotive engg :D :D

What you guys have to worry about is ..... it has always been Gulbir of Prime's dream to own a Harley and if he buys one ..... GUESS WHO IS GOING TO FINALLY BE PAYING FOR IT !!! :ohyeah: ... in your bills from Prime you will probably see at the bottom a HD surcharge :)

A harley is a Harley...love it or hate it..basically this divide is as old as the jap sportsbike have been around...a guy who likes a harley will never buy a sportsbike..and vice versa...

Well i belong to the first category..nothing can match the presence of a Harley..all sportsbikes look like clones of each others..but a Harley stands out..

(okay sports bike lovers..lets not begin a cat fight over this..:P )

Unfortunately, they come at a steep price and i think i'll have to stop eating for a few decades to gather the moolah to own one..:P

hehe.... I prefer performance to looks/presence.

That is why I bought a Pulsar 180 instead of an Avenger/Eliminator or Royal Enfield.

I dont want to move so fast that people dont notice my "presence" :P

Its not that i dislike cruisers,i LOVE them...the ones like the goldwing, vulcan,VMAX etc. IMO cruisers >>>> sports bikes.

Then why the Pulsar re..if you dont wanna move fast and show ur presence the Avenger wud have been better..:)

I find ur two statements contradicting..:P lol..

And well, the Royal enfield has a performance in a different way..performance is not always being fast..sometimes its the way the bike shows its road holding ability, the way it manages crosswinds at high speeds, the confidence it inspires on the highway..the overall image of the bike..no indian performance bikes can mange crosswinds like the bullet does..simply because of its heftiness...it's like a locomotive..:P once its on the roll the vehicle coming from the opposite side did better run for cover..lol :P cos if it rams into anything, it'll leave the biggest dent of all indian bikes..;) tht is why a true blue bullet fan may never want to buy a jap bike..even if he has to painstakingly stay awake all night to get rid of the leaking oil or a broken clutch cable..he'll still do it for the ride's sake..

APtly said, for some..the journey is the destination..:)

the cruiser is made for the highway :ohyeah: the rest is for roamin around in the city :P or yeah if u have a track or something :P The royal enfield is ROYAL i mean its sound is so distinct....nothin beats an enfield on the road...its got heritage...that counts...

err typo...

I meant, I want to moveso fast that people dont see me :P

and I somehow hate the sound of Royal Enfields. I prefer a faster sound like the Yezdi Roadking or RD 350.

The RE I feel is meant for oldies who dont have the inclination to go fast :P And I honestly dont see what is so great abt the thump...

^^Lol..there is nothing great about the Thump but simply put, the thump is pure music to the ears.. but yeah..you need to train ur ears to like the sound..:P..to me, tht sound is pure music..too bad i cannot buy one...the prices have rocketed to the skies in the last few years..

Btw, i have a Uni and am more than happy with it...but one day, i dream of owning a harley..:S
