I have the ICICI i-Safe (not iMobile) app installed on my phone. Currently whenever i open the app, it is stuck on this screen and I have no idea what to do next.
Can anyone walk me through the process on how to register for iSafe app ?

Mine is iOS 7.0.4. Touching works but I have no idea what to put in activation address and where to get that address from.
I am ok with using android as well (nexus 7 on 4.4.4). But would prefer iPhone.

you need to activate isafe in your netbanking site, then you will receive message with an url. If i remember correctly, clicking the url will automatically open isafe application. If that does not happen, just try copy/paste that url in to isafe app.

Yes that's what. On the ICICI desktop website, I am unable to locate where I should be registering.

^ Some genius in ICICI changed the design of netbanking with so called user experience by hiding these things :D Anyways its hidden under my profile page... Click MY PROFILE button and then expand the My Profile + link in the left menu. There you can see i-safe activation link.

Works well on my android phone, but I feel sbi mobile app is better.

This doesn't let you add payees, you have to add them from the desktop website only.

Ok so I did go to the location you mentioned on desktop website. I did find the iSafe activation thing and activated it. Sort of I mean. It told me to set a pin which I did. Also I got SMS as below..

Thank you for registering user ID XXXXXX for ICICI i-Safe. To activate enter ABCDE-FGHIJ-KLMNO-PQRST on your mobile in i-safe application.

Now if you see first screenshot in this thread, you see something called "Enter activation address" and when I enter the above there, it says it is wrong or something.

I shall try this on android today mostly (but mostly won't work since it is a tablet). Also if i activate iSafe then i won't receive the OTP on SMS at all and only option is then to deactivate it from ICICI desktop site.
So if I ever end up in a a situation where when logging in, it asks for OTP and since iSafe is full not working (but showing activated as per ICICI site) and i would not receive OTP on SMS, i would be stuck in a deadlock and would have to call the customer care. I have observed that when I would login to ICICI from outside India, it would ask for OTP for logging in as well.

Btw the OTP generation (not activation of iSafe) on the iSafe app happens without the need of internet ? Like RSA secureID ?

PS: As of now I have deactivated iSafe.[DOUBLEPOST=1420083616][/DOUBLEPOST]Edit: Activated iSafe finally on the iPhone. Also verified the OTP. Just want to know whether I can generate and use that OTP even when not connected to internet ? I guess no ?

^i have not tested without Internet... But I assume it should work as like any other algorithm based disconnected otp systems.

You can try it out right? I stopped using it once upgraded to iOS 8 and never bothered to reactivate it in my android device as I don't use ICICI much now a days.
