Hathway user alert!!!!

I have been having problems with my Hathway connection for the last 2 weeks and on Saturday an Engineer said that my Cable Modem is dead !! Now I am going to hire a new one which will be delivered tomorrow. Meanwhile I have a service Modem from Hathway which is locked at a blinding speed of 64 kbps :(

Today I was told by an Hathway engineer that they are in the midst of changing the location of their servers and this should be ready by tomorrow. Hopefully the connections will improve now.

I have a 256 kbps Unlimited usage account so I am not affected with any change in the period of FREE hours. All hours for me are FREE :)

From tomorrow you should have no problem checking you usage if the servers go on line as mentioned.

I must mention that Hathways service has begun to go downhill :(

they says office close now...call tomm

btw their 24hour helpline number too is dead.......dont know where its going.....still no other decent provider in my area.....reliance provides 300kbps unlimit for same hathway amount...but now on i m not interested payin more than 600 buks per month

and the stuff here is unlimit hours r frm 11 pm to 9 am...but this guy says it has been changed to 12 am to 7 am

The Hathway Engineer had mentioned to me that the Helpline was going to be down for a few days, try phone after 11AM tomorrow on number 4002 6810.

Check if Airtel available in your area, their number is 4444 4121.
 
I spoke to a Hathway person at their customer service centre and asked about what you mention about change in the timings, this dude did not know about any changes and he asked people around him and no one was aware about any changes. :huh:

I dont know what Hathway have done today but check out my download speed with my 256kbps unlimited conx :ohyeah:

lolz...btw another guy too mentioned on that panvati site again so ill b callin them up again tomm...i really find something fishy since my logs arent updated after 14th of this month
 
OT: magnet wuts the number for the hathway helpline.. i disconnected the connection but the bugger still did not come to take the modem and return my deposit! :@ :@
 
i have 2 numbers of their parel office but dont know whether they works or not 66429999 or 66429955

btw i get hathway internet via bhawani cable networks..so i always call their number 25244951 for problems related to it......
 
Okk called them today...

they have refused stating any change in the free timings......but i guess it might be under cards...the guys who posted it are frm

bangalores.....anyways will start collecting airtel broadband details soon if this diktat comes....

But there is still no changes on the hathway site it still shows

Can anyone please clear the smoke for us, as calling hathway and getting any answers from there is of no use and if this is for true than hathway will mess with log for sure and i god damn guarantee on this one.......
 
Andrew dude this quote was send to a guy in chennai in mail...and it is mentioned as new 512 extra as a plan.....day usage increases by 1gb and other reduces...hope u got it

Hathway seems to have different accounts for different cities :(

If you want to know the ones for Mumbai then phone Maya on 4004 1690, I was given this number but have never managed to speak to her, the line is always busy.
 
Well Eazy now i dont care much about them.......i have so many numbers of hathway that i myself have forgot for which problem i called which number.....they have office with biometric..but they cant keep a single number for problem related stuff with call centre...
 
blr all calls divert u frm one place to another..and most of the times phone disconnects while this transfer goin
