BUY WITH CONFIDENCE

Just to let you know that a P4 with about 1GB of RAM and 40GB HDD would fetch you something like 750bucks to 1k in the used market. Price accordingly... Nehru Place etc sell new P4 / P3 systems for about 2-3k

@Dhruvrock2000 - Cant say about P4 because recently i have purchased P4 for 3.8k from a seller of techenclave. This thread is also for the other residents living in rest of the nation where they have no Nehru Place in their city.

Ideal for: Download rig, community accounts, back up PC, Charity educational institutions

Charity institutions would not buy, beats the whole purpose. That's what I would do with such old machine...

And whats with the "Buy with confidence" on all your threads? Gives an indication similar to a shopkeeper selling 2nd hand wares...

i thought this was available for 1k a week back... how come it became 1.8k? I must be mistaken but could you let us know what the price drop was from?

Dont think this would constitute as thread crapping but as a fact Pentium III 800 was released in 2000. So how was this bought in 1998? :S
