I have already bought XFX ATI 4890 1gb , Intel Core i5 750 , Corsair TX 750 , Samsung P2350, and much more from Vedant

ATI 4670 is a bit pricey in Kolkata - 4.5k

ATI 4850 512mb - 6.5k-6.7k from Tirupati Enterprise ( quote last week )

Its not available anywhere in Chandni except Tirupati

ATI 4850 1gb - 8.2k ( Arihant )

which one you think should i buy , HD 4670 4850 4870 4890 5750 5770 , and how much of memory , independent of monitor as i will upgrade it on march , to play cod mw 2 , gta iv , fifa 2010 at optimum , max settings.

Before even thinking about buying any gfx now, you need to change your psu

Only if you change your psu first then

ATI 4890 only if you plan on 22" monitor and plan to play games at 1920x1080 resolution at max settings

Else ATI 5770 for any other resolutions other than 1920x1080 resolution

If you won't change your PSU then ATI 5770 , is the best buy
 
If u dont plan to change ur monitor...i suggest either of these:-

Sapphire HD4770 Artic Accelero @ 7.4k
or
Sapphire HD5750 @ 8.8k

Choose either, they are ur best bet and u wont have to change ur PSU since their power footprint is very small..

Why u buying a new gpu? just send ur died 8600GT to hongkong thru India Post, it will hardly cost 400-600/- max. Calculate the shipping on their website. You may get a better GPU in return may be a GTS 250 !
