What are the current temps on ur hdd?
5tb wow ? Hearing that for the first time.
You will be better f with 3tbx 2
 
i have heard that seagate is launching 5tb with nice loaded features, u can google it
i don't know about 3tbx2 ??! i don't know about their specs and what loaded features does it have?

I have couple of those. I'm using them since about 4 or 5 years.
In a non-AC room, my HDD temps stay at 37-38 degree Celsius during summer.
It has a temperature sensor which in case of the ones I have, never worked well since the beginning and failed after a few months.
The LCD shows the temperature detected by the sensor (now it just says "LO") and RPM of the fan. You can adjust the fan speed.

After using them for so long, one of the fans only goes to 2500 RPM and the other one goes to 3100 RPM. When they were new, both went up to 3500 RPM.

i meant 2x 3tb drives. What is the purpose of these drives > ? if storage of vvideos , go for green drives. Better option, think NAS.
