PC Peripherals HDD...Keep or Sell?

Eazy's case is the best in market for 2500 /-.

Not "is" the best but "WAS" the best when I bought it 1.5 years back from Prime. By today's standard it is P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C

Only nice thing about the BAFO case is that it has a fan below the drive. This case is made of plastic and is UGLY as hell !!! so unwieldly and FAT that it is difficult to carry around. I have drilled 1/4 inch holes all over it for extra air circulation.

480mbps of USB2 = 480 Megabits = 60 Megabytes per second.
50MBps of a hard drive = 50 Megabytes per second.

However, most USB2 interfaces max out at 25-30MB/s. So the hard drive is obviously limited to half its actual speed!

Remember MBps or MBPS = megabytes/s
mbps or Mbps = megabits/s

Don't confuse these two things.

well sorry guys for disturb.

USB 2.0=480 Mbps but it wont give you exact speed of it.
instead try Firewire.
there are some disks avaliable with 250/300 GB with IEEE1934 and speed is great.

i purchased 250GB external USB 2.0 (7200RPM) hdd and i found it performing less while comparing 300GB external IEEE1934 (7200RPM).

so my suggestion is go for IEEE1934. no USB please...

by the way what is the price in india for 250 / 300 GB external usb hdd.
