Headphone for Music ONLY Under 2.5k(Koss?)

i think u can get KOSS KSC75 SPORTCLIP STEREOPHONE HEADPHONE for Rs.1,761.90 and KOSS PORTAPRO PORTABLE STEREOPHONE for Rs.2,945.00 from Pristine note<if intersted u can find them in dealers paradise Section>

i would prefer the first really a great headphone for the price i heard them from a friend of mine Great sound quality.

Porta Pros are balanced headphones. They dont have a lot of bass though its decent.

Bass heads will be better served with something like the Sennheiser HD202 and the Sony MDR XD series.

I have not heard either but I do have the Portapros and I wouldn't recommend it for bass lovers.
 
I have just now bought the PL-11 and I am very much pleased with it..

Try to get the PL50 or PL30, They have really good audio quality

Else Try Senheiser HD202

Clip-ons are not that comfortable, and I would be using them with pc, and pristine note is robbing people blind, 3k for a headphone that sells for 2k incl shipping in ebay global easy buy? Some thieves they are.

How the overall clarity? The bass does trample the sound now does it? I like bass but it should not mask the sound, I'm not an audio freak, hope you get my drift.

PX100 looks flimsy, HD228 on the other hand looks good, what's the price of this here? And anywhere I can get it reliably?

PLs are earphones, I need headphone, anything better than HD202 comes in mind?
 
The Sony MDR XD200 does have an insane amount of bass. Plus it has two modes Music and Movie. Bass on Music mode is very slightly subdued than the movies. Its great for movies though, but read somewhere that for overall sound quality HD202 is better than the XD200.

Wait around for more suggestions. I certainly dont think XDs are indeed the best music HPs (cost around 1.4K) but they certainly are one of the most comfortable. HD202 costs around 1.8K-2K on eBay, should be lower in other online stores.

I have Sony MDR XD200 and there is no noticeably change in sound when u switch between 2 modes

yepp its true that clip is not very comfortable anyways the reviews in the link provided by me tells the story but they have a very amazing sound quality really comparable to those costing $120-150 and those who are selling it in ebay for rupees 1330 and so are mostly deals from US they carry no sellers warranty and i dnt think Koss provides a warranty here as the product actually belongs to US market. while pristine note serves the warranty for you
 
I have a year old px100 with box
not used more than 60hours as I ventured into iem world very soon and they are lying unused since then
its in perfect condition
I can sell it for a 1000bucks
