Headphones under 1k

Hi,
I want to buy headphones under 1k ,preferably a new one or an old one with atleast 6months warranty remaining.
I will prefer Koss or sennheiser or creative headphones.
Also if anyone knows wer do we get brand new Koss headphones here in Mumbai, please let me know.
I want it for my acer 4736 laptop which has got 5.1 sound card.
Please Suggest

Do u need Earphones (those with tiny little buds, goes into your ear), or Headphones which cover your ears from outside ??

For earphones, Look at Creative EP-830 (<1k) or PL-30 (1.1-1.3k)

For Headphones, Look at Phillips SHP series low end models (<1k) or Sennheiser HD 202 (1.2-1.3k).
