No. I do jogging and HIT so would like to determine my heart rate during the workout without stopping the session to check it manually.

^ Interesting. There is one my friend was suggesting. But the best way is manual lol.. hold ur vein under your neck and check beats for 15 secs x 4 = ur heat beat. Try the TABATA Protocol! 14 min workouts designed for olmpic atheletes. What else u do?

I have been using heart rate monitor since last one year. I have 2 heart rate monitors, one is omron and another polar, both purchased through KMD. I think, it is a must for people intend to do rigorous exercise/jogging with family history of heart problem. Your heart rate any point of time should not exceed a limit derived from general acceptable formula.

Omron with me is simplest, economical and good and polar is with many features but very costly.

^^ i think you meant 15 seconds:P. Well I have always been a fan of weight training and bodybuilding. I started in 2004 then gave up after four months. I think i lost my motivation:(.

Then this year i got concerned about my health as i have gained a lot of fat around my belly and my body composition has 25% body fat.

So on a serious and healthy note I started weight training again in January and still going strong. Along with cardio and diet i have seen tremendous improvement in my body.

I have a CHR 200 from Casio which shows the Heart beats. Dunno if you can buy it in India but can get through KMD from US.
