Heartbreaking - Four-year-old, raped, dies in Nagpur hospital

In the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital in Nagpur where she was brought in a coma eight days ago, a four-year-old girl from Madhya Pradesh, who was kidnapped and raped, died on Monday evening.

Her parents last saw her conscious when she was playing outside their house in her village.

Two men allegedly used a chocolate to lure her away. She was raped at night; her parents found her next morning lying bleeding outside a farm. Both men have been arrested.


Captial punishment would be an easy thing for such ba#@$@#. Really feel they be punished publicly and let them perish slowly in pain.

On a different note Not to forget.. the alleged policemen who tried to bribe the victim's family, in Delhi's 5 yr old rape case.

If the government legalises sex with child prostitutes perhaps. But even that won't stop the rape of children.

Rape isn't only about sex, though it majorly involves sex. There is sexual gratification, but the trigger is something else entirely, it has more to do with domination and sense of power over another human being. The main culprit is the sick mentality of the people (even the non-rapists) and not much fear of the law (a well justified choice).

Food for thought: Even prostitutes can be raped.

yes there has be some punishment so that people can think twice before such heinous act. Rape is just not physical, but a major mental harassment.
i can only say RIP to the little child and share this songs with you guys, we need to change the political system & mentality of society to see any changes. else, india is nothing more than ram bharose hindu hotel at this time.

I'm very sorry about this news, but in all seriousness, in a country of 1.2+ billion people, terrible crime is bound to happen. There are many horrible people around the world, and simple math tells you more than 17% of all them heinous people are from India.

Who said that? I believe there are at least equal number, if not more, of paedo-perverts are there in developed worlds. But they have a much better tagging system of such criminals and try to alert public regarding any such criminal who resides in a locality after being released. All apartment complexes have strict rules, of informing their residents about any resident who has a history of such conducts (legally they can't bar such people from residing once he has been punished by the law).
