Dear raksrules,

The USB drive with incredibly low price and huge capacity is always the typical trap. There are several ways for you to verify genuine Kingston product:

1 Minute Product Verification

Search For Genuine Kingston

Or know more anti-counterfeit information on Kingston Blog

Before purchasing, It would be better to check if the according part number and capacity is correct on Kingston official website.

We encourage customers to always buy from Kingston authorized distributors, resellers or retailers to protect their best interests. As an industry leader known for the quality and value, Kingston will continue to develop methodologies that protect consumer rights and thwart those that attempt to profit from our good name.

Regards,
Kingston Technology

Dear ggt,

Kingston's lifetime warranty means that we do support the product till it is being manufactured. Since the technology is changing at a very rapid pace, we need to keep up with the latest technology. If the module being used by the customer is an EOL (End of Life) product, we do try to repair the same part and make it available to the customer at first.
If for some reasons the part is non repairable, we will check with the customer for the motherboard being used by him/her and see if we can offer a compatible running SKU similar to the one. If that is not an option, we do offer our customer a credit note for the same, irrespective of the number of years under warranty.

If you still have any question, please feel free to let us know, thanks!

Kingston Technology

So if by any chance my ram went bad. So do i get warranty cover now since i understand ddr3 is the standard now. but ddr2 ram modules are still available in the market.
So in the worst case if you cannot source Them or repair them i do get a credit note right?
