Hey Guys,

As the name suggests, I work at TechShop. We are an e-Commerce business based in Mumbai. We have endeavoured to bring a unique shopping experience for the well-informed IT hardware buyer. The products we showcase are all the ones that you guys love and talk about here.

It would be great if you guys took the time to review some of the products available on our website. I say this because I am sure that I will get knowledgeable reviews from TE users. Also, our website in general can be reviewed in the Customer Feedback Section.

best way to keep deals better is to keep up to date with technology and give updated prices....

Without updating to the latest prices u will lose out the informed customers...who buy very high end hardware and are aware of the latest prices.... also bring latest h/w there is in the market....

I would love to have pre order offers of products not already launched in India...
like harry potter books or like the 9600 gt pre order organised by Phoenix...

Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more! is best example of this kind of website...
 
you should be knowing all this.. but still :P here goes..

never try and build up a largish inventory... else you will go down the drain..

give the customer a choice of products to select from and then source it.

try to get the latest as soon as you possibly can.

get good deals!!

the hi-end hardware market is fine.. it has dedicated buyers.. but its small and can easily get saturated.

try to get more vfm stuff at killer prices... obsly there will be a lot bigger community of enthusiasts with relatively smaller pockets than the hi-end chaps... :)

if possible try to get brands which might not have much of a presence in the country but might have demand.. case in point being how evga got dragged in finally :)

and oh yeah.. you have a sweet site :) could do with a lil less clutter though :)

@ ronnie_gogs: We try and update as regularly as possible... Intel and AMD for example are updated every 3rd day.. maybe even this is not enough :)

Pre-Orders is definitely something we can work on... and of course NEWEGG is definitely where we wanna be...need volume business for that.. I hope I'll get support here.

@sTALKEr: Thanks for your comments... I think we already have a decent sized product list.. 55 brands and 720 products... I hope they are new enough for techenclave users.

We are also trying to have more consumer oriented goods online.

Check out the Combos section guys.... I think some of the deals there are pretty good.

am sorry if this doesnt sound good mate.. but at the end of the day.. ur pricing aint exactly the best in comparison to what we can get from dealers here on TE.. so that could be another place where you could improve

May I bring your attention to this special running on your webshop: corsair 450W was 4004 now 3999 (Special!)

Is a 5 rs discount on a 4000 rs product supposed to trigger a purchase? I think not. I remember a sales promotion principle that postulates customers not noticing any discounts below 20%. In any case, I suggest a minimum of 10% off. You may try offering increasing discounts for items lying in stock for longer.

And the webshop itself looks pretty decent. What's the backbone you're using?
