finished shopping a bit.....small , mini rig......

Processor : E2160 : Rs.2675
Motherboard : Biostar 7050 : Rs.2300
RAM : 1GB 800Mhz Transendx2 : Rs.2080
Generic PSU : 400W iBall : Rs.560
Samsung Pleomax : Samsung : Rs.230
Mouse : Circle Multimedia : Rs.300
DVD-R : Sony x 10 : Rs.150
Fans : Generic Fans x3 : Rs.75

iball smps will go in my current rig and the powersafe gold 400w will replace it in the setup.....

the mouse is excellent - volume control / forward / rewind / play / pause / side buttons so a total of left click + right click + 2 left side clicks + center click + multimedia in the center........

old cabby and old hdd's for now till i save up for a 500 gigger......as of now will survive on 40+80+10 :bleh: and if u wondering how im gonna run 4 ide's on a single slot ?? .....my old rig's will be linked up using a cross cable :ohyeah:

next buys , 22" or 19" WS Dell LCD :bleh:

proper review later at night when i set it up.....

Congratulations dude, will be getting the same mouse 2morrow & are u sure he gave the mouse for 300 to u :ashamed: ...

And wait till 2morrow evening for my thread on how to build a basic Rig for 15k including a Colour Printer, DVD Writer etc...... :ohyeah:

its okie , as i said i have a powersafe 400w , the iball is a backup...also i seem to like it cause the service center is like 5 mins from my place and they give 'replacement' across the self in 10 mins if anything is wrong , so its okie......am sure many ppl run it ......:D ..........

lol , i already know what the config is :bleh: others will love it.....am off for a review....starting the setup @ 12 am , lets see how it goes ,links later...........will be 'reviewing' or typing something after ages , hope everyone likes it :ohyeah:
 
Congrats- a simple rig that will do everything you want to get done. :D

As far as the iball psu is concerned and your confidence with it, esp the rma, no comments. :bleh:
(But then you will be using the powersafe to power this, so no issues. :P)
 
everything is up and running , this board is awsome , processor is idleing right now @ 32 degrees is it okie ? or should it be more cooler ? review would have come in abt 2 hrs but damm i cant find my usb connector cable of my digicam.....if i do find it ...feast or else tomorrow pakka......

@andrew : fyi....this beast boosts up with the 800mhz ram right away without any issues no changes in the bios too.....so the info i had got from a bit here and there was correct :)

detected 2gb i.e 1x2gb , all drivers that came along with the cd worked perfect no issues wat so ever...will post more soon......

A few snaps before i hit the sack , need to do this in breaks.....got a sore eye :(...with this u people might be able to guide me to OC.....i did a simple try of setting the mem to unlinked and increased mem from 800 to 825 ....lol...it booted @ 1.86 instead of 1.8 ...waaah......next i tried 900...:rofl: .......had to reset the bios.....so no more experiments....

shooo :bleh: the mouse just rocks , love it....

well....somehow not able to adjust to the keyboard....the right side shift key is small and there is something called "turbo" next to the shift button , can anybody enlighten me what is it for , i tried a keyboard mapper to map the funtion of shift to it , but the key wont get detected by the keyboard mapper software ......keyboard : samsung pleomax...

LOL those keys are all useless on the pleomax. Dont know why on earth did they keep those keys if they dont function :|

i know man , its a bit annoying, the entire keyboard is excellent except for that "tubro" button , and its position is so bad , used to the old conventional keyboard man , and this key is right above the right "ctrl" button so each time i need to use the right shift , this button comes in way , will try replacing it....

now will someone please tell me the procedure to OC , i have given the bios screenshots!

simple push on stock voltages........superpi 1M in 26 seconds.....

back to stock currently.......
enabled step speed to check it out , drops as low as 1.2ghz with jus 1.1 vcore.....excellent for long downloads with no use.......
 
Your Lucky dude, u got that mouse for cheap. Now he is saying me that he got it with some promotion offer and thats y he sold it for cheap. Now if any one wants it it will be around 425-450. And i'm like what the F**** .

15k Rig Thread coming up today, and a lil' thanks goes to Hanzy whom i meet by coincidence the same day. And he helped me getting the Biostar 7050 mobo.
