HELP !! bitcomet string corrupted and torrents disappeared

I woke up in the morning today and started my bitcomet client to find to my horror that windows is saying XML file corrupted and no download taks showing in the task pane of bitcomet. window asks me to run chdsk utility. I did that and it deleted the corrupt entries. Now , there is a plain blank task pane in front of me.
All my downloads at various stages of progress have vanished. Is there any way I can continue my downloads from the previous stages ??? I tried reopening th e torrents in bitcomet but it starts from the beginning.
please tell me YES . I had some very important files downloading since months. !!! :@
 
ok. problem solved. went to the torrent folder inside the bitcomet folder in C:\ d program files and dragged the torrents into the bitcomet task pane and it did a hash check and started from where it was incomplete. :)
