I guess you haven't read the thread title,op's budget is 6k.
CA50-Dell IN2030M-5.9k is the best option within your budget, the link has been share above.
#iamtheone, i am looking for 20" one if it comes within my budget
Guys currently confused between AOC 19" Wide e951F and the one from DELL, please advice
harry_houdini said:AOC has only one year warranty which makes choosing dell an easy choice
Previously CRT monitors were highly reliable , mine lasted for 8 years ! .
But nowadays dead pixels and all sort of problems are there , plus dell's service center is smooth .
And in case you go for a Dell , straightaway use a DVI digital cable , if you ' re planning to use it on VGA
Trust me I have it , its not worth it .
Dont know if this post helps as you already seem to have decided
but anyways cheers n congrats
#harry_houdini, thanks really helps mate
And i will be using a DVI cable. Are you using this same monitor??
#harry_houdini, hey mate you are not wasting my words, these words for a user are valuable in my research.
Right now i am thinking of getting this.
I doubt if i will be getting it locally, so i will have to get it from dealers or from letsbuy, buts isn't the chance of getting one with dead pixel increase in these case, as i can't personally check the monitor before packing.
harry_houdini said:Yes thats right , but if aint available locally then I guess you should take a chance from letsbuy .
See if you can get coupons , though i looked for them but currently cant find any .
Before there used to be 5 % or 10 % off ones .
Dead pixels sometimes dont appear easily ! , you can use the software called " Dead Pixel Buddy " to make it easy to find dead pixels . But it will consume time and I dont think any dealer will allow such time or opportunity for you to check so long .
So I guess you have to take a chance . I am not for extending budgets because a person can keep on extending budgets for everything n ...
If i were you I would have saved some bucks and waited a couple of months so budget is not upset and gone with Samsung and then Dell as a second priority . See the comparison ratio of Dell and Samsung monitors having a problem and you ll know what am telling , why dont you put up a poll here . But again Samsung one is expensive but a good margin . So go for Dell .
But I guess Dell will whitewash Samsung in a few years , dell monitors are flooding the market !! .
But again Dell's service seems very good even if they might give a replacement monitor, lets see how it goes . If you wanna know I ll tell you after I get my Replacement .
Hope its a new one !! .
