Storage Solutions Help DVD Writer Error!!

Beginner
I have a Asus DVD writer. When i try to burn something, it gives me error.
I am attaching the error log, please can someone tel me whats wrong, thanx!
I use Nero 6.6.0.14d
p.s.-it reads cds and dvds well but didnt write :(

I think ur drive is either running short of power while spin up .. or it damaged and needs some servicing ...

Also , which OS are u using ?? DO u have the latest ASPI drivers installed ?? Are u using Alchohol ???
 
usually its either a failed mechanism , or power if it only fails burning .

this should be easy to pin point by trail and error . start with power first . try cleaning and if either of these two dont work , hope that you still have warranty on this :)

^CHANGE MEDIA! Sorry to scream, but have you tried with DVDR media, good stuff like Sony/Daxon? Pleomax 10X discs are Plasmon MID. CRAPPY ++.. get some good MBI and try..
