HELP for adding subwoofer in car's audio system..

hi friends...i have bought new i10 ,which has got sony's sound system(sorry i dont know it's model no.) installed with four 6inch speakers but i also wanted to add subwoofer to it...,so i wanted to know will it be possible and will it require amp. also to be added....?

For sub woofer you need at least 2ch amp. but it may overpower the speakers in your case.

Best set up IMO would be a decent Component speaker set in front doors @5k + 4ch amp@6-7k [2ch in bridge mode for sub & 2 ch for components]+ Sub @4k -5k + good wiring kit & labour @2-3k. Rear fills only if there will be any passengers at back.

In your case try to sell the front door speakers & get components. Later on as budget permits add 4ch amp + sub

PS: In car audio sony is never considered to be good.
