Audio Help for Buying Desktop speakers within 4K

Hi Guys, finally i have decided to buy a speaker system which i will be using with my Desktop PC,

please suggest me any good quality speakers within 4K range, i prefer Altec lansing speakers but have not shortlisted any till now..

iam open for suggestion on 2.1 or 5.1 system. only requirement is Quality sound
my current mobo is P8-H61M-LE

Even i thought of going with that but read somewhere that its not very good for soft music... and has too much bass output...

Can anybody who own a Octane7 through some light on this

I dont know where to find a Edifier C3 in mumbai... Its not available online anywhere. But how does Edifier C2 perform in comparison to Octane7?? any idea

Congrats! Enjoy your purchase! I was able to buy C2 online from Infibeam.com (Its yet to be delivered)
