Hi Guys,
Need help for sorting out graphic card for my home computer. Nothing fancy, just to play some games like HeroesV etc. What I have is AMD 64x2 4000, Gigabyte 690V MB with 2GB ram. I am going to get it from someone coming next week from US.

sorry to say .....but none.

since they cost 60$ ~ 3k.....its better to get palit for 3.4k from india. dude, dont sacrifice on the warranty to save only few bucks.

better u purchases card from india for good warranty support.
u can go for xfx 1 gb 9600gt it will be around 7500/-
or u can also go for xfx 512 mb 9800 gt it will be around 8000/-change
if u r wan lower price u can go for xfx 1gb 9400gt it will be around 3500/-change
 
^^ Doesnt make sense, if you have someone from US coming over plus the cards are priced lower there. Its worth the chance..

FYI 9600GT at 1gb is a waste, the normal Palit is for 5.4k odd. And at 8k you get a 4850, which is considerably faster then a 9800GT. The 9400GT is a waste, at any price range.

DDR2 version performs similar to 8600 GT while the DDR3 version performs similar to 8600 GTS.
Memory clock of the ddr3 version(1600MHz) is exactly double that of the ddr2(800MHz) one.
