Hi! i hv bought new giga psu frm prime abgb 18 day ago. But frm yesterday it working for 3-4mintues then it restart my system again and again! I hv checked with other psu & its working fine.Hlp what to do?:S
Here is my config -

intel e5300
asus p5kplm am/ps
2 gb ram
320 hdd.

Perhaps some sort of shorting somewhere or the connectors are loose? Try assembling the system outside the enclosure and starting it. If the symptoms persist, get it RMA'ed.

Is the issue resolved yet?

Are the items listed in the first post all that you have in your computer?

If not , please list out your full config.

Did you check the voltages for the new psu?

Why did you need to buy a new one?

Which other power suplies did you try?

p.s. Maybe ASUS motherboard doesn't like Gigabyte power supply?

just kidding. :p

just want to suggest something.

gigabyte supplies a lame 2pin power cord for psus.. use a proper 3pin power cord instead.

i dont understand why gigabyte supplies a cord without earthing connector on plug.

One may not get the right answer/s unless asking the right question/s.
