Laptops HELP!! Laptop Not Working?

HI Friends,
My laptop is not switching on. Yesterday It was acting quite Sluggish. So I run virus scan on it for whole day. Yes ittook that much time. And today When I started it its not even switching on. I took off the battery started it on Power but still to no use. I connected the battery again. Still no use. I put on Complete Charge still no use.

Please Help.. What Can be possibly wrong with it??? I am not talking about booting. Its not even switchin on.

Possibly some issue with the power button? Or the battery contacts. How old is your laptop. Its better you get it checked by a qualified person to eliminate any serious hardware problem

Well the problem with Laptop was in Motherboard as told to me by techi. Motherboard was unable to recieve enough current from Smps. So they repaired my Mother board. I got the delivery today. but still laptop is acting very very sluggish so i sent it back. It took 12 mins to boot windows. where as usually it takes only 2 minutes Any Help guys?
