Its been really hard managing a 22 " and Swans M10 in the current table I have. Plus something now and then keeps coming over it which makes things even more cluttered.

Add to that cleaning on small space makes things really hard. Anyways I am looking for a good table for my PC. I do not want a rudimentary table with CPU printer and UPS brackets made.

All I want is a large enough table so that I can house all the components with decent room to spare .

I saw a table in the ads recently it had curved ends and looks awesome. Can't recall the ad nor can find the table.

Anyway here is one design I liked. Any help on selecting the design will be good.

What I can change in the future is 22" monitor -> 23/24" + a hdd dock.

Please do help with some good designs.

Get the keyboard a fuller resting place. Maybe a full board rather than that cramped up lil slot.
You might wanna rest you forearm at times so that ll always come into use. There is ample space for that adjustment as well.

check out steelcase and babini furniture. they will be really expensive so the best bet is to copy a design from there and get it made here.

yeah, using a drawing board for keeping the keyboard is really comfortable, much more so that a slider. also many tables in showrooms aren't big enough to house comfortably house midtower cabinets.

Thanks guys :) This is just a random image that I liked for searching the design.

I too had a smiliar posted model in mind for my table and will keep the suggestions in mind.

If you guys have any better looking models. Please do let me know and yea I am only looking for a design, will get it built by local shop.

Do you keep the sub of the m10 on the table or on the floor? With a 22-24" monitor I need need at least two feet between the keyboard and the monitor while browsing and 3-4 feet while watching movies/gaming.

hehe... I had seen some pics where people had kept the monitor on top of the midwoofer; I guess they don't vibrate as much as a regular subwoofer. Btw, wheels are a terrible idea.

add a cubicle around it and it will look like a typical office workplace. btw, i've had experience with such furniture in workplace and that keyboard drawer is flimsy in reality. its screwed to the bottom of the table, so if you rest your elbows on it it falls down on the floor or your foot if the weight is too much. wood is mdf and build quality is useless.

stay away from these readymade crap. design and get your desk made by local carpenters after seeing their job.

The best kind of computer table is no computer table. I got this made from my carpenter for under 600 bucks. Heck, it's so simple that you can do it yourself, if you have access to a saw and a power drill. All you need is some plywood, a laminate sheet, two angle mounts and you're set. The best part is that the desk height has been customised for me, so I have a very comfortable typing position going on. My main components are powered by a UPS placed on the left hand side (not visible). The power strip is only meant for wall warts.

I carefully chose the dimensions to accommodate my Zotac nettop, Samsung 23" monitor, PS2, a large keyboard, and a massive Goliathus mousemat. Since those components are pretty lightweight, the surface is strong enough to bear all that and allow me to rest my elbows on the edge without a sweat. The image shows the desktop mode. For gaming, I shift the keyboard to the left and rotate the mousemat by 90 degrees. Moreover, there is no need to place heavy CPUs on top of anything, so my gaming rig (NZXT Lexa S) rests on the floor (it's shrouded by a bedsheet in the pic). The second photo should give you an idea of the cable management employed with simple screw-on steel hooks.

Yep. It's a PS2 Slim with a DecalGirl skin. The router's hidden behind the monitor. Both PCs share the input devices through a powered Belkin 4-port USB hub. All I need to do is swap the mini USB cable to switch computers.
