Help me buy Cheap PC Speakers

Level F
Hey, guys.
I am looking to buy entry level speakers for my PC. For context, I have my PC hooked up to a 27" monitor and a home theatre system through a dedicated AVR plus ATMOS 5.2.1 system.
When I am watching a movie or gaming, I prefer to use the projector-AVR-HomeTheatre system. (Don't need high refresh rate for the games I play. Big screen is much better.)

Now, the thing is I don't like to power on AVR and speakers every time I need sound on PC for normal usage, like youtube or reddit and such. Up until now, I have been using bluetooth headphones for this use.
I had Edifier bookshelf speakers previously which I gave away to my brother when I upgraded my HT. I don't want to splurge that much for PC speakers when I am not going to use them for serious audio needs.

I need something in the range of 2-3K max or preferably less. Just 2.0 speakers should be enough without a woofer. I remember a few years ago there was quite a range for such speakers in the market. But right now, searching Amazon and FK gives me only cheap chinese rebranded stuff or super tiny 2" speakers. Is there no good quality speakers available in this price range? Please suggest a model if you have seen any. Thanks.

Have these since 2015, works fine and satisfactory.
Just saw my order details back then it was just for 999 INR. Oh the inflation...

Here's a better model for not much more price. 22W

Yeah, I've used F&D years ago, but I was looking for 2.0 rather than 2.1 so as not to clutter the desk. Still, these look good enough. Thanks. Will consider them if I don't find better options.

I Beleive you can't go wrong with these
Creative Pebble 2.0 USB-Powered Desktop Speakers with Far-Field Drivers and Passive Radiators for PCs and Laptops (White) https://amzn.eu/d/iymGFkE

Spend a not more and you can have a 2.1 setup with same
Creative Pebble Plus 2.1 USB-Powered Desktop Speakers with Powerful Down-Firing Subwoofer and Far-Field Drivers, 8W RMS with 16W Peak Power for Computer PCs and Laptops (Black) https://amzn.eu/d/1zh9fPA

HP Multimedia Speaker DHS-2101, Dependable and Crystal Clear Sound; USB Powered; Plug and Play; Magnetically Shielded Speakers https://amzn.eu/d/0rqOfZ2

They are both of decent build quality and creative ones might sound better than HP

Please note i have never used any of them... But reviews are good.

I would also suggest you to look at local deals. I picked up a Sony SRS D5 for 800 bucks. The mid and high range performance is a bit lacklustre, but the bass and decent loudness makes up for it. The Subwoofer makes listening to music / movies enjoyable.

Currently, leaning towards Creative Pebble V2 @2800 - https://www.flipkart.com/creative-ct-pebblev2-bk-16-w-laptop-desktop-speaker/p/itm0a421413bb71c

But was hoping to find something bigger and square, lol. I prefer the classic box shape than these.

I have these, been using them for a year and had bought a renewed piece for 800. Decent for youtube videos and such (F&D E200)

You can also look at these (Honeywell Moxie V500). Though I haven't used these, my experience with Honeywell products has been good so far

The other thing you can consider is buy a cheap amp and connect them to your front speakers. But you'll need to build a switch for that to switch over between AVR and amp.

I hate soundbars. I don't think I have ever truly felt separation of channels with any Under 10-15K soundbars.
Although, yes, my usage and budget do not actually require/afford that channel separation. Still, I would stick to a 2.0 and avoid soundbars.

These soundbars are as good as mono, no channel separation. If that's a requirement, then yes, these are best avoided.
