Hi all,Need to buy a Original HP Pavilion DV 9000 Series Laptop Battery.

Part No. - 416996-131, 434674-001, EV087AA, EX942AA

Ratings - LioN, 14.8V, 4400mAh

OEM Battery will also do as far as it carries 1 year warranty.

Problem is that it's not easily available here and i don't have the source to get it for the best price.

Any Help will be really appreciated.

i've searched on ebay but some have their prices are way too expensive (atleast by 1k) and others that are priced good have sellers warranty.

anyone here who deals in HP Components might help me out.
 
If you are in Delhi, call up JustDial and ask for Bhatia Computers, Nehru Place contact details. They are the major stockists in NP of batteries and they deal in all brands.
 
Even I had the same problem for my dv6516tx laptop. The standard battery was too expensive and I didn't trust ebay dealers. Ultimately, I got an OEM battery (Yuantel) shipped from amazon.com (a friend brought it back to India). The performance so far (touch wood) has been excellent, I get close to 5 hours of battery life. It is a 9 cell battery, so doesn't sit flush with the base. But, that has a benefit, as it improves the airflow to the vents, I find the laptop running cooler now

The battery cost me just under 50$
