Hi TE folks,
It's been a while since I've posted here. I want to upgrade my monitor to pair with the one I will upgrade from my Ancient 1070 to a new, disappointing RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB. My main uses are gaming (single-player and casual online), watching movies, and general media. I’m currently on a 32" Acer monitor (no HDR
), and I want something that will give me a much better experience, especially in terms of black levels, HDR/SDR quality, and minimal backlight bleed. Refresh rate isn’t a big deal, but I need Nvidia G-Sync compatibility.
Budget: Up to ₹30,000
Size/Resolution: 32-inch, 2560x1440 (QHD)
Panel Preference: Best possible black levels, local dimming preferred, minimal backlight bleed
Shortlisted Models (Amazon India):
PS: Planning to upgrade to a pure OLED or mini-LED panel in the future when prices come down, so want something solid and reliable for now.

Shortlisted Models (Amazon India):
- LG 32-inch QHD, DisplayHDR, G-Sync Compatible (Model 1)
- LG 32-inch QHD UltraGear, G-Sync Compatible (Model 2)
- Which of these LG models (or any other in this price range) has the best black levels, local dimming, and minimal backlight bleed?
- How is the HDR/SDR quality on these? Is it actually worth it at this price point, or just marketing?
- Are there any other brands/models I should consider (Acer, BenQ, MSI, etc.) for better panel quality or features?
- Any real-world feedback on panel uniformity, backlight bleed, or build quality for these LG models?
- Deep blacks, good contrast for movies/games
- No annoying backlight bleed or clouding
- G-Sync compatibility
- Decent HDR (not expecting miracles, but want a visible upgrade from SDR)
