Ditch the board and better off with Biostar 790gxb. You save around 4k on the board. Honestly, ditch TG500 and grab vx450.

Stay away with Phenom I ...They are obsolete and don't offer anything tempting for the price..

AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE = 7500
Biostar 790GXb 128+ = 5700
Benq E2200 HD | Samsung S2233Sw = ~11000 | 10400
nvidia GTX 260 = ~10k ?
Coolermaster 590 - ~3800
Corsair VX 450 = ~4000
Samsung 22X DVD RW = 1200
WD 640 AAKS = ~3400 ?

Total = 46,600 with E2200HD

Rates can be a bit lower as I am not aware of graphics card price..
Ohh you don't need ram ? :S

He wants to save some dough and I see no point in investing in a VX450 over the Tagan SR500W TBH! This PSU does not belong to the leagues of the CM Extreme Power PSUs and could easily drive an OC'd Quad core system with a pwr hungry graphics card such as the HD4890. I'm not sure if Tagan's trusty old OEM Topower is the OEM but this PSU is good going by the reviews. I'd rather advise him to stick with the Tagan PSU itself.

Additionally, I'd advise the OP to go with the system posted above by Dark Star. That system coupled with a good GPU such as the GTX260/HD4870 and above should see you crunching thru most apps including most newer releases of games.

Advise you to invest in a good aftermarket cooler and OC the processor to gain the inherent advantages.
