Laptops Help me fix this laptop issue.

Someone please help me fix this laptop, 2 months back display was replaced and I paid 13k plus 2k extra for wifi which is also causing issues.
Now I think the touchpad or the keyboard is causing trouble.
I already completed a fresh install of win 11 and updated drivers and all.
Now if someone can pin point the exact issue ? then may be I can take it for repair again.
Sometimes volume tab also swings like this, I even removed the wireless mouse which I was using with it but still the same.

Looks like the up-arrow key is the culprit. Can you open a word document (or copy something from a wikipedia page and paste in notepad/word) and try to place the cursor at the end of the document, if it is up-arrow key issue, you can notice the cursor moving up line by line till the first line of the document. You can also check whether this happens in other places like right-clicking on a folder/file etc.

Definitely not touchpad, as the selection option is only through mouse pointer not the way we do with arrow keys.

As useless as this suggestion, might sound, you should generally avoid spending too much on repairs these days. A laptop having multiple issues mostly means that the repair guys will not diagnose the problem correctly and just replace any component which will earn them some money.

I replaced a laptop display 3 years ago (btw, this only cost 3600 at the time for 768p screen). I repeatedly stressed to the guy (authorised service center btw) that the issue was probably somewhere else and he should investigate it properly. He said it was the display. Got the display replaced, issue popped up again in 2 months. The problem was most likely with the GPU or with the display connectors and he unnecessarily replaced my laptop's display.

This, and other similar experiences have taught me not to trust repair guys at all and not to repair anything if the repair costs more than 15-20% of the product's original cost.

Coming back to your problem, it's unlikely that anyone will be able to diagnose it correctly from a small video, without physically looking at the laptop. Your best bet is to go for an exchange and get a new laptop.

Ok my suggestion to find root cause first

Try install win 10 which is stable to find we can replicate the issue. It will weed out driver compatibility issue with laptop.

Can we disable keyboard and touch in the settings and connect wired kb and mouse. Use can use this with win 11 to see if we can reproduce the issue. That might help to pin point the issue. If you can remove keypad and place again to ease out connection issue.

I agree with gourav, service guys are least bothered with finding right diagnosis. My experience with in a year of my gaming laptop i get occasional blue screen of death. I told service it might be RAM issue but they replaced hdd and when same problem persisted replaced RAM. After that no issues.

Can be a random issue with keyboard and touchpad which weren't mounted/fixed properly in place while assembling the unit.

The issue seems to be some stuck key/contact on the keyboard. It does not seem to be problem with touchpad, since the mouse pointer is not moving around by itself.

As cri_sss has suggested, disable the internal keyboard in Windows Device manager, and then check in notepad or any app that laptop keyboard does not provide inputs. Next connect an external USB keyboard, and check if the same issue is seen anymore.

I doubt the same, asked my sister to see if some key is stuck when it happens.

I completely agree , I usually don't spend on old item repairs hence I asked fellow members here only and couple of guys suggested that it's worth to get it fixed.
No one will buy this preowned laptop with a faulty display so I thought of spending 13k for the display which includes 3 months warranty by the repair shop. I thought it was OK as the item itself was purchased for 85-90k
then after repair wifi card was causing issues , again replaced for 1.5k.
Yes it's difficult to trust the repair guys but I wasn't left with any alternative.

Yes I can understand it's difficult to diagnose with such a small video but it happens once in a while, like may be once in a day or two.
Most likely it's the keyboard key which stucks like @Prisoner627 said.

Nice suggestion but it's highly unlikely a driver or stability issue as it was working smoothly with win 11 since last 2 months or more.
