Monitors Help me repurpose my old 17inch 1080p eDP - 30 pin Laptop Screen with suitable board and enclosure(VESA)

I want to repurpose my old 17 inch 1080p screen from my sager LAPTOP.

1. I want to know which controller board will work correctly with this 17 inch screen
2. Suitable power supply.
3. Proper enclousre so that i can vesa mount this screen vertically as my third display.

Although its kinda given but to be sure, is your laptop dead?
I'd just rdp into my pain pc and keep using the laptop... its not that laggy if you've got a good connection. Also can look into proprietary tech like Nomachine or moonlight for streaming. What else is going to be your usecase for a seventeen inch 1080p other than pc streaming?

Was using laptop normally and suddenly it shutdown. I restarted , it booted and then shutdown and there was burnt smell emanating near the HDMI port region. Quickly took off the power cable. Opened it and thought there should be some fan issue , but it boots and went to windows login page and immediately shutoff. The heat pipe from CPU was very hot and took it off , only to see there was some burnt( looks like that) mosfet?

Anyway to get it repaired ? It was my favourite laptop Worked pretty fine for almost 7 years (Jul 2016)

Also i have important data on SSD...

Its dead..
This DIY project was supposed to be undertaken long back. Now had little time , i dismantled the screen today morning to read the model number.

Its not for streaming , just more screen space to park some apps/pdf books/cctv etc
Already running dual monitor setup . 1440p and a 1080p monitor. This will be either added as third or planning to use it as cctv monitor using hdmi-lan extender ( https://blacki.co.in/products/black...over-a-single-cat6-cable-1080p-and-3d-support )
Before i do these , i need to get this screen converted to accept HDMI and possibly inclose it in a better enclosure for possibility to VESA mount

Ok finally was able to bring it to life.
Since 3080 was able to handle three monitors , i was able to hook it up. Unfortunately needed a DP to HDMI cable. Bought one and connected. It came to life. Tinkering around windows , trying to solve few display refresh rate issues.
Bought a wall mount and luckily the display had a aluminum points to be mounted on its original frame , i used the same , using plastic tags , to mount to the vesa plate. Although not safe , will be using this setup till i find someother way to mount. Also the backlight is open and it works like a ambient light for now.
Also used a plastic container box to mount the controller board.
