4Gb G.Skill DDR2 PC2-6400 PQ CL5 Series...

4Gb G.Skill DDR2 PC2-6400 PQ CL5 Series 800MHz Dual Channel kit

OR

2Gb OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 CL5 EPP SLI-Ready...

2Gb OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 CL5 EPP SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel kit

basically it is 4GB@800 Mhz vs 2GB@1066 Mhz (both have the same timings)

Also, this is the first time i will be ordering something online that through from a foreign site. Please tell me how trustworthy it is? How much time will it take? And overall how is the experience? Need i keep somthings in mind before i make the purchase.

Also how much will i llose in Rupees... like is it direct conversion...say the ram is for 196 euros + 30 euros shipping = 226 euros.

Will the bill be 226 x 55(current euro rate) or will it be more than that ???

Thanks Please let me know asap

What's the rest of the system like? If your gonna OC your CPU, that 800Mhz RAM will do more.

I'd pick the 4GB kit if you planning a Vista switch anytime soon, you'll need it ;)

Good question there!!! More Capacity or More Speed??? I'll leave it to the experts :P
I had ordered a CL4 Adata 800 MHz 2GB kit for 89 Euros + 10 Euros shipping from the same site. Can easily run it at 950 MHz!!! :hap2:

The cheap shipping made the parcel take a whole month to reach me (including the custom rituals). Got charged Rs. 400 for customs.

If you gonna use 30 Euros (DHL, I presume?) shipping, that may make the journey & customs faster and easier...

Dude, if you are buying the 4 GB kit, be sure to check the compatibility with your MoBo. Some MoBos do not support some RAM sticks.
And for the bill, if you pay by Credit card, the bank may add some currency conversion charge. So expect the bill to be around 226 x 56 (if current euro rate = 55) or some cards even charge upto 3%. Check your Card Company's charges!!!

Hey experts please help,

I still havent got a clear cut reply as to which RAM to buy. You ppl know the rest of the config. Please suggest a particular RAM.

Also if you ppl suggest the 2GB @ 1066 Mhz, OCZ one. Then i saw that at just 7 euros more, we are getting the same specs OCZ Reaper (copper conduit one). So if 2 GB is the recommended, should I buy the one have listed or the Reaper.

And if its 4GB @ 800, then it will be the GSkill one i have listed above. Please help me soon, i will place the order within a week.

And please tell me some things to keep in mind before i order from Memory-configurator. I mean how can i reduce the customs (someone told me to tell them to reduce the bill and all). How do i do that. Pleas help !!!!!

^^^ ..yeah but if i get 1066 Mhz, i wont need to overclock in anycase .... the main question is ....

Will the 800 Mhz be a BOTTLENECK for the rest of the rig or not ?????

I hope i wont loose anything by buying the 800Mhz. This the main question.

My sugg is go for 4Gb 800Mhz .. will be much better than going for 2GB .. 4GB one you can make it run around 1000 with little tweak.. I guess you gonna build a solid PC :)

I have access to these things in cheaper way :) Just that not enough money to buy these stuffs !
