i am building a PC for my younger sister for that i have already selected mobo+proccy+HD+writer etc....

1- now i want a stylish cabinet (dont want to go for expensive 1)

her basic use will be ms office and jawa programs for class 9 so i dont think better PSU or extra fans are needed as for the high end gaming or video editing the only thing matter to her is style

please help me , u know no matter how good the configuration is, girls go for style and if she reject it then i will be in big trouble (i will be always blamed for a cheap computer):(

2- want a wireless keyboard and mouse i want to know will it work properly as proposed in the given pic

i mean there will be a wooden barior between keyboard/mouse and CPU

How do you plan to get the monitor wires thru?

Would suggest an el-cheapo laptop instead (if that's possible)

3k for cabby+wireless keyboard mouse

what i have selected

19" compaq moniter - already using

DVD writer -Rs.1100 (which 1 to finalize LG or samsung)

wireless KB/M will work for all mod pc's all u need is empty USB ports that's it...

what technology does wireless keyboard work ???
in my case cpu will be below the keyboard and a wooden barior in between chk the abv given pic

^^ Wireless keyboards/mice work on RF technology, which can be Infrared , bluetooth or any radio frequency range ( mostly 2.4 Ghz or 5) ( not sure what else). Bluetooth & 2.4GHZ, 5 GHZ (Source)easily works with barriers in between, but infrared needs line of sight...

But I need to ask you a genuine question .... Why you need to have wireless keyboard & mouse there ?? you have scope for wires. :P.. and moreover wireless keyboards /mice is less responsive, needs frequent battery change ( if u buy rechargeable batteries, then also recharging needs time... )...

^^ thats actually good point but he need wls-Kb/m....

@OP> dont worry they (RF not IR) work well w/o any conn drops from pretty decent 5ft away from ur comp.... (do u really work that much away from ur comp display?)
